Albirr Foundation UK is a charitable organisation established with a very simple aim: to make the Qur'an freely and easily available to all those who wish to study and understand it sincerely.

By distributing free copies of the Qur'an and selected Islamic literature, Albirr Foundation UK hopes to enable interested individuals to gain direct access to the words and meaning of the Qur'an.

In addition, Albirr Foundation's aims extend to cultivating the learning, understanding, recitation and memorisation of the Qur'an amongst children living in the United Kingdom. For this end, the Foundation organises an annual Qur'an Competition which encourages and rewards the efforts of young students of the Qur'an.

The understanding which pervades Albirr Foundation's work is fittingly summed up by words from the Qur'an itself:
